I.N’s Childhood
I.N was born in Busan, South Korea, and has an older brother and a younger brother. The Stray Kids’ maknae graduated from SOPA, where he focused on studying Applied Music.
I.N started his journey in the entertainment industry as a child model at the tender age of seven. His early experiences have surely shaped him into the remarkable artist he is today.
IN’s Journey to Becoming Stray Kids’ Member
Jeongin showcased his talent during JYP Entertainment’s audition in Busan and was accepted on his second attempt. JYP Entertainment officially revealed his individual picture and name on October 13, 2017, for his participation in the highly anticipated survival show, Stray Kids.
He was introduced as a vocalist on the final episode of the show. On December 19, 2017, it was confirmed that Jeongin would debut as a member of the amazing boy group, Stray Kids.
In March 2018, he debuted as the sub-vocalist and maknae of the group with I Am Not.
I.N’s Solo Songs
While I.N. has showcased his musical prowess countless times in the group’s songs, he has proved his incredible talents with two solo songs. On January 16, 2021, Jeongin made his solo debut with a single, Maknae on Top featuring Bang Chan and Changbin.
He participated in the composition and writing of his original solo song, Hug Me. The song was released on December 21, 2022, as part of the best album SKZ-REPLAY.
