GFriend will likely celebrate their 10th debut anniversary with a special reunion!

GFriend members gathered together at VIVIZ’s Seoul concert in June, supporting their former bandmates Eunha, SinB, and Umji.

Now, they are planning a reunion next year to celebrate their 10th debut anniversary.

On September 24, music industry insiders confirmed that GFriend is set to reunite for a special project in January 2025, coinciding with their 10th debut anniversary. The group is preparing a special gift for fans to celebrate this milestone.

Source Music, GFriend’s long-time agency since their debut, will helm the upcoming project. Despite the group members changing agencies after disbandment, they will partner with Source Music for this special 10th-anniversary project.

GFriend, a South Korean girl group, debuted on January 16, 2015, under Source Music with their EP “Season of Glass” and single “Glass Bead.” The six-member group, consisting of Sowon, Yerin, Eunha, Yuju, SinB, and Umji, gained widespread recognition with hits like Me Gustas Tu (2016) and Navillera (2016).

In May 2021, GFriend parted ways with Source Music and disbanded, with members pursuing solo endeavors. Eunha, SinB, and Umji formed VIVIZ, while Yuju launched a solo music career. Sowon focused on acting, and Yerin took a hiatus.

However, in a thrilling turn of events, GFriend will likely be reuniting with Buddies (fandom name) for their 10th debut anniversary.
