GFriend is pulling out all the stops to make their 10th anniversary one for the books!

Besides a comeback in January 2025, the group has several activities planned to give special treats to their fans. One of the promotional activities includes an appearance at the 39th Golden Disc Awards.

As per an exclusive report by OSEN on December 9, GFriend is set to reunite as a full group at the upcoming 39th Golden Disc Awards, taking place at Fukuoka PayPay Dome in Japan on January 4-5, 2025.

This will be the group’s first performance as a full group in four years, and it is happening at the Golden Disc Awards 2025.

GFriend burst onto the scene on January 16, 2015, with their mini album “Season of Glass”, and quickly won over fans with a string of mega hits. However, in May 2021, the group’s time under Source Music (a label under HYBE) came to an end, and the members went their separate ways.

Despite disbandment, the group decided to reunite to celebrate a huge milestone, their 10th anniversary in January 2025. To mark the occasion, they are making a comeback with a special project that is all about making memories with their fans.

GFriend is gearing up for a big start to the new year, with a slew of exciting activities planned. On January 6, they will give fans a sneak peek at their upcoming special album “Season of Memories” with a pre-release track. The full album will drop on January 13. The group will also take the stage for a solo concert, “GFRIEND 10th Anniversary ‘Season of Memories'”, on January 18-19 at Seoul’s Olympic Hall.

All eyes are on GFriend’s upcoming performance at the 39th Golden Disc Awards which will give a sneak peek into their highly anticipated comeback. The ceremony, held on January 4-5, will feature a star-studded lineup and exclusive performances.

NewJeans, LE SSERAFIM, TWS, TXT, ZEROBASEONE, NCT WISH, BIBI, (G)I-DLE, and more have been announced as performers so far.
