(G)I-DLE is set to make a powerful comeback with 2nd full-length album, 2, scheduled to release this month.
On January 8, Cube Entertainment released a logo motion video and comeback poster for their 2nd full-length album ‘2’ on (G)I-DLE’s official social media.
The logo motion video has a new ‘i’ logo and shows the number ‘5’ flipping upside down to become ‘2’. It’s a clever way to hint at their second full-length album. The video also revealed the comeback date, making fans even more curious about the new album.
The comeback poster they dropped after the logo motion is quite attention-grabbing. The flashy black outfits, the bold poses, and that intense red lighting are all so captivating.
Previously, (G)I-DLE made waves not just in Korea, but internationally too. Their title track Queen Card from their sixth mini album ‘I Feel’ was a sensation last May. In October, they reached a ‘career-high’ by ranking 25th on the Billboard 200 with their first US EP album Heat.
(G)I-DLE’s highly anticipated second full-length album, 2, is set to drop on multiple online music platforms on January 29.
