Soyeon, (G)I-DLE leader, music producer, and regular member of KOMCA, sat down for an interview and revealed many exciting things about her journey so far.
The 25-year-old idol made an appearance on the web entertainment show Inssadong Sulzzi hosted by Lee Chaeyeon on April 24.
On the show, she revealed her relationship status by saying she is single. When asked if she was ever dumped, the Jelly rapper shared that she had been dumped.
Lee Chaeyeon asked if she uses her dating experience to write songs, Soyeon shared that since at least three people write lyrics for a song, “It’s not just about one person, it’d be like 3 guys per track. If you write about one person, you can’t make a 3-minute track.”
She went on to explain the songwriting process and spicing up the lyrics, “You combine the experiences of each person with your emotions, you spice it up a bit. I have nothing to hide, how do you write about something you have yet to experience?”
Soyeon confesses to making some parts up when writing a song, “But there are some parts I’ve made up by watching shows and movies.”
Moreover, she expressed her desire to produce a song for ITZY as she sees immense potential in the group members.
On another note, (G)I-DLE released their second studio album, 2, in January and broke numerous records as well as achieving a perfect all-kill.
