The dating norms in the K-pop industry are widely known. K-pop idols often face harsh criticism for being in relationships, as seen in the recent cases involving aespa’s Karina and Lee Jaewook, as well as Han Sohee and Ryu Jun Yeol.
BamBam from GOT7 is currently co-hosting JTBC’s Love Siblings alongside Han Hye Jin, Code Kunst, (G)I-DLE’s Miyeon, Jonathan, and Patricia.
When Jonathan asked, “We’re going to talk a lot about love, are you okay with that? To Which BamBam wittingly replied, ‘I’m 27 now, you think I’ve never been in a relationship before? That’s ridiculous.’
BamBam’s funny remark made Jonathan, Patricia, and Miyeon burst into laughter.
In the K-pop industry, idols receive hate for publicly announcing relationships and have to maintain a single and available image for fans.
On another note, BamBam is also confirmed to host Netflix’s Super Rich Stranger. Previously, he revealed the release solo album this year and dished on GOT7’s comeback.
