South Korean actress Hwang Jung Eum has reportedly moved on from her past romance with former golfer Lee Young Don and is now said to be dating a professional basketball player.
The 39-year-old actress was recently spotted on a public date with a prominent basketball player. As reported by Edaily on July 22, the couple was seen intensely focused on each other as they enjoyed a romantic outing together.
According to an insider close to the actress she met the basketball player during a challenging period in her life when she was parting ways with her former husband, Lee Young Don.
Hwang Jung Eum has recently ended her tumultuous marriage with former golfer Lee Young Don. The couple had a history of breakups and reconciliations, having initially married in 2016 and welcoming their first son in 2017. They filed for divorce in 2020 but later reconciled and had their second son in 2022. However, they have now parted ways again.
Previously, the She Was Pretty actress accused her husband of infidelity in a social media post. Also, she lent him approximately $650,000 (900 million won) which Lee failed to pay. She then filed a civil lawsuit to recover the amount.
Lastly, as per an insider, Hwang Jung Eum and her new boyfriend are in the stages of getting to know each other better and have comforted and supported each other during difficult times.
