Stray Kids’ Hyunjin has officially crossed 5 million followers on Instagram as of August 9, 2023, less than a week after launching his personal account. This makes him the second member of Stray Kids to hit the milestone, following Felix, who reached the mark just days earlier.
Hyunjin joined Instagram on August 1, 2023, alongside fellow members Bang Chan, Changbin, Seungmin, and I.N, as part of the group’s STAYweek content rollout. Stray Kids’ members created personal accounts to directly engage with fans, nearly five years after their debut.
Within hours of going live, Hyunjin’s account, @hynjinnnn, amassed over 3 million followers, and by the end of the week, he had surpassed 5 million.
Around the same time, Hyunjin’s influence outside of music was growing rapidly. In July 2023, he was officially named a global brand ambassador for Versace, becoming the first Korean male ambassador in the luxury label’s history.
The announcement came as no surprise as the K-pop star was seen sporting custom Versace looks during Stray Kids’ performance at Lollapalooza Paris. Earlier this year, he attended the brand’s La Vacanza runway show, a collab with Dua Lipa.
Meanwhile, Stray Kids remained busy with global promotions and festival appearances during the past few months. Following their headline performance at Lollapalooza Paris, the group continued promoting their June 2023 album “★★★★★ (5-STAR),” which topped charts globally.
They now prepare for their ‘5-Star’ dome tour in Japan, which begins in Fukuoka on August 16-17 followed by stops in Nagoya, Osaka, Seoul, and Tokyo.
