ILLIT, the breakout Kpop group that dominated the first half of 2024, announces October comeback with brand-new music.
On September 23, BELIFT LAB announced their first comeback album I’LL LIKE YOU through a notice on Weverse.
Describing the concept of their 2nd mini-album, the label shared, “The second story of “I” who used to get too immersed in the moment. ILLIT wants to get closer to “You” and honestly runs forward in search of their own answer.”
They asked GLLIT (fandom name) to look forward to their first comeback and show unwavering support.
In addition, they will be holding a fan showcase on October 23 at 7 PM at Seoul Olympic Park, Olympic Hall.
They are making their first comeback nearly 7 months after their debut on March 25. Their debut title track Magnetic entered the Billboard HOT 100, making ILLIT the fastest K-pop act to enter the prestigious list.
Magnetic debuted at No.91 on the HOT 100 and mini-album SUPER REAL ME secured the 93rd spot on Billboard 200.
Around 6 months after the release of their debut EP SUPER REAL ME, it is still dominating the major domestic charts.
According to Billboard’s latest charts released on September 17, Magnetic ranks 66th on the Global (excluding US) chart and 125th on the Global 200 chart. Notably, Magnetic has maintained its presence on both charts for over six months since its initial entry on April 6.
With their debut album still making waves, fans are excited for their upcoming comeback with I’LL LIKE YOU.
