The ILLIT squad has got us guessing!
It seems like something’s brewing, but what could it be? A new album? A tour? A surprise single? One thing’s certain: ILLIT’s got a plan, and we can’t wait to see it unfold.
On June 26, Wonhee celebrated her 17th birthday and went live on Weverse to celebrate with fans. The 17-year-old idol was joined by two group members, Moka and Iroha.
Fans were taken aback by the trio’s unexpected new looks: Wonhee with a shorter cut, Iroha rocking a bold blonde style, and Moka flaunting a fresh layered hairdo.
That’s not all, a teaser for Yunah’s appearance on Han Moon Chul’s Dashcam Review was released on June 26. In the teaser, Yunah is seen sporting brown hair, looking absolutely stunning.
Since Minju has not made any recent public appearances or went live on Weverse, it is hard to confirm if she has also undergone a hair makeover.
Since their debut, ILLIT members have long been admired for their luscious, dark locks. Previously, the group also received a lot of criticism for having similar hairstyles, makeup, choreography, concepts, and activities as NewJeans.
Despite the plagiarism accusations by ADOR’s CEO Min Hee Jin, the group continued to perform well with their debut album, SUPER REAL ME, released in March
On top of that, they became the fastest K-pop group to enter the Billboard HOT 100 with the title track, Magnetic.
With the dramatic hair transformation, fans are speculating that ILLIT members are hinting at an upcoming comeback.
On another note, ILLIT is set to perform at 2024 TMEA on July 19, taking place at Galaxy Arena in Macau.
