ILLIT’s Moka to Perform Seated for Upcoming Shows Due to Leg Muscle Injury

Moka from ILLIT

ILLIT’s Moka has sustained a leg muscle injury, requiring modifications to the group’s upcoming performances. As a result, Moka will perform seated for the time being.

On August 9, BELIFT LAB released an official statement giving an update on her health and participation in scheduled performances, “MOKA sustained a leg muscle injury this week and has been advised by medical staff to rest. She will participate in MUSIC EXPO on August 11 and Show! Music Core on August 12, but will remain seated on stage and not be performing the choreography.”

The label further added, “BELIFT LAB prioritizes medical advice and the artist’s recovery above all else and plans to manage MOKA’s work schedule flexibly.”

Previously, her bandmate Wonhee suffered an ankle injury ahead of the Weverse Con Festival and had to perform seated.

Fans are wishing for her swift recovery and urging BELIFT LAB to give Moka a sufficient rest period.

On another note, ILLIT debuted in March with a mini album, Super Real Me, and is now preparing for their first comeback in the fall.
