Sungjong from the group INFINITE recently informed his agency, SPK Entertainment, about his decision to end his exclusive contract.
He sent several certifications, and it was confirmed that reasons for ending the contract included non-payment of the exclusive contract deposit and settlement fee, as well as a breakdown of trust.
According to lawyer Kang Yoon-hee from Won Law Firm, who is representing Sungjong, they have sent various proofs of contents and officially notified the termination of the exclusive contract. The main reasons cited are the non-payment of the settlement fee and a breakdown of trust in the relationship.
Additionally, Sungjong’s legal representative mentioned that no support, both in terms of resources and personnel, was provided during the period, and no settlement money was paid for his activities.
SPK Entertainment agency’s representative has not yet provided an official response regarding the certification of contents and has chosen to remain silent.
Sungjong’s side has made multiple attempts to reach an agreement but has been unsuccessful so far. They are now considering taking legal action if the representative from SPK continues to neglect responding.
