MADEIN member Gaeun has recently stirred up speculation about her future with the group after making significant social media changes.

She unfollowed the CEO of the group’s agency, 143 Entertainment, and deleted all her posts from Instagram. Gaeun even removed “MADEIN” from her Instagram bio, which led fans to wonder if this indicates a departure from the group.

143 Entertainment has yet to make an official statement about the latest actions of the 19-year-old dancer.

MADEIN, a 7-member girl group under 143 Entertainment,  consists of Mashiro (formerly of Kep1er), MiU, Suhye, Yeseo (ex-Kep1er member), Gaeun, Serina, and Nagomi.

Gaeun, MiU, and Suhye were members of the group LIMELIGHT, which was rebranded as MADEIN after the addition of Yeseo, Mashiro, Serina, and Nagomi. Former Kep1er members re-debuted with MADEIN after contract renewal negotiations with WakeOne Entertainment fell through.

They debuted with their first mini-album, “상승 (RISE)” on September 3. Their debut was marred by controversy for using excessive AI in the music video. The CEO of 143 Entertainment later apologized and released a new edit a few days later.

Now, fans are looking forward to an official statement from the agency after her latest move.
