K-pop stars Yeji of ITZY and Eunchae of LE SSERAFIM took a break from performing to show off their pitching skills. Both idols recently threw ceremonial first pitches at baseball games.
Yeji made a special appearance at Jamsil Baseball Stadium on Thursday, March 27. There, she threw the ceremonial first pitch for the Seoul LG Twins’ game against the Hanwha Eagles.
This marks her third ceremonial appearance for LG Twins. Previously, the ITZY leader threw the first pitch in 2019 and achieved the first hit in 2023 for LG Twins. She took to the mound again for the team’s third game against the Hanwha Eagles.
Yeji is the leader of a five-member girl group ITZY under JYP Entertainment that debuted with the hit single “Dalla Dalla” in 2019 In addition to her group activities, Yeji has also been pursuing a solo career. She recently released her debut solo album “AIR” and its title track on March 10.
Yeji recently donated 50 million won to support relief efforts for the wildfires that broke out in Korea on March 21.
Hong Eunchae, the youngest member of LE SSERAFIM threw the ceremonial first pitch at the ‘2025 Shinhan SOL Bank KBO League’ game between Samsung Lions and Doosan Bears. The match took place at Jamsil Baseball Stadium in Seoul. This exciting match is part of the ongoing 2025 KBO League season, which kicked off on March 22, 2025.
Before the match, Eunchae threw the ceremonial first pitch and cheered on for the Doosan Bears with lively “Fighting!”. She proved to be the “victory fairy” for the team as the Doosan Bears won their game against Samsung Lions.
