While Jun So Min bid farewell to the SBS variety show “Running Man” last year, she has not cut off ties for good with the cast members and fans of the show.
As much as viewers would want it, the 38-year-old actress is not returning as a regular cast member. Instead, she will rejoin the show as a guest for a special episode in January 2025.
On December 30, an SBS official informed Newsen that Jun So Min took part in a recording for “Running Man” today as a guest, and it is expected to air in January.
They also mentioned that the broadcast scheduled for December 29 was canceled due to the tragic plane crash, and there could be more cancellations, so the exact air date is still uncertain.
Jun So Min will appear as a guest on the show with her co-stars from the KBS Joy drama “Sorry Not Sorry”. She will be joined by fellow actors Daniel Choi and weightlifting champs Kim Hayoon and Park Hyejung.
It has been about a year since she left ‘Running Man’, and now she is making her comeback. What’s more, this will be her first encounter with Ji Ye Eun, the newest member who took over her spot.
Jun So Min became a regular cast member of the popular variety show “Running Man” in April 2017 and remained part of the show till November 2023.
