Kang Daniel will be pursuing his solo endeavors under a new agency after the closure of KONNECT Entertainment.
He will start a fresh chapter with a new label on his 5th solo debut anniversary.
On July 25, it was revealed that Kang Daniel entered into an exclusive agreement with ARA (Artistic Round Alliance). ARA is an entertainment company founded by a director who former Wanna One member who has already worked at his former agency KONNECT Entertainment.
Besides that, the founder has previously worked for big entertainment companies including YG Entertainment and Big Hit Entertainment (now HYBE).
After parting ways with KONNECT Entertainment in June, Kang Daniel received offers from top agencies. However, he decided to work with former staff and the team members who left during the company’s internal conflicts.
In June, he announced the closure of his former agency after an internal conflict with a majority shareholder who signed a 10 billion won contract without authorization.
On another note, on Kang Daniel’s 5th solo anniversary, he will hold a live broadcast today.
