Kep1er fans were dealt a disappointing blow as the group’s upcoming fansign event was abruptly cancelled due to health concerns.
Members Yujin and Hikaru have tested positive for Type A Influenza which led to the cancellation of the highly-anticipated event.
On December 27, WakOne Entertainment announced the cancellation of the event through an official statement. The statement reads, “We regret to inform you that the fansign event scheduled for 12/28 (Sat) has been cancelled due to additional confirmed cases of Type A influenza among members Yujin and Hikaru.
All members visited the hospital this morning for a Type A influenza test, and a total of 4 members tested positive.
According to the medical staff, all members need rest and isolation, so the fansign event schedule has been cancelled.
We apologize for the cancellation, which was made to prioritize the health and safety of the artists and fans.
Refund information for the fansign event will be provided through the record label.
We apologize again to the fans who were waiting, and we will do our best to recover the artists’ condition.”
On the work front, Kep1er will embark on their fan-con tour “Beyond The Star”, with two shows in Seoul on February 15-16.
