However, the moment was overshadowed when a fan claimed Kevin had written a note expressing hope for the Kia Tigers (a rival team) to be celebrated in their hometown of Gwangju, a comment seen as disrespectful to the hosting team, Kiwoom Heroes.
Baseball fans and netizens criticized the remark, pointing out that guest participants are expected to avoid endorsing rival teams at such events.
The incident has sparked debate, particularly since Eric, a known Kiwoom Heroes fan, was celebrating his second time throwing the first pitch, this time alongside his group member.
After a public spat between Sunwoo and Nana, this is the second time a THE BOYZ member has been pointed out for their impolite behavior this month.
