JYP Entertainment’s highly-anticipated new boy group, KickFlip, is already making waves in the K-pop scene. Just ahead of their debut, the group’s first mini-album “Flip it, Kick it!” has surpassed an impressive number of pre-orders.

KickFlip is set to enter the music scene on January 20 with the release of their EP “Flip it, Kick it!” and the title song “Mama Said”.

The hype surrounding their debut has reached new heights, with pre-orders for their debut mini-album “Flip it, Kick it!” hitting 300,000 copies by January 15.

The upcoming album has six amazing tracks, including “Mama Said” (lead single), “Umm Great” (pre-release), “Warriors”, “Knock Knock”, “Like a Monster”, and “내일에서 만나”.

Just 10 days after launching their social media accounts on January 6, the group has amassed 400,000 followers on Instagram and 630,000 on TikTok as of January 16.

Their pre-debut content has been particularly well-received, especially the music video for “Umm Great”, which was released on January 6. The music video ranked 9th on YouTube’s Music Video Trending Worldwide and 3rd on YouTube’s Most Popular Videos in Korea by January 7. Most notably, it surpassed 10 million views on YouTube within just 48 hours of its release.

The group’s name, KickFlip, is inspired by the challenging skateboarding trick of spinning the board 360 degrees with the toes. Similarly, they are entering the music scene with a bold mindset, determined to break free from conventions and push boundaries.

Meanwhile, KickFlip’s debut album “Flip it, Kick it!” will officially drop on music platforms on January 20 at 6 PM. To mark their debut, the group has a busy schedule planned for January 20, including a debut show on Mnet M2 at 7 PM, followed by a debut showcase at 9 PM. Additionally, a KickFlip pop-up store will open at The Hyundai Seoul in Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul, running from January 25 to February 2.
