On March 19, Kim Ji Won, the lead in the tvN series Queen of Tears, made a guest appearance on the YouTube show Salon Drip 2. She portrayed Hong Hae-in, the managing director of Queens Group and the owner of Queens Department Store, embodying a proud and aristocratic demeanor.

She shared that she had to go on a diet to portray the character of a second-generation chaebol, expressing, “I had to show it externally, so I dieted for about a year.”

The Lovestruck In The City actress shared, “I haven’t eaten Chinese food for about a year,” and added, “The role I play in this work is a character that wears a lot of different clothes and has parts that need to be shown externally, so I worked hard to manage it for about a year.”

Even after finishing filming, she had to keep up with her diet because of all the promotion stuff going on, she shared “I still have to use my face.”

Lastly, following extreme diets shows her dedication to the role and her passion for acting.
