Now, after days of silence, the “Queen of Tears” actor is preparing to address the scandal and explosive allegations made against him. The Kdrama actor was admired by fans worldwide, and now, his public image is irreparably damaged by the recent controversy.
On March 13, Sports Seoul exclusively reported that Kim Soo Hyun would break his silence and provide his account of events. As confirmed by multiple sources, the 37-year-old actor plans to address the allegations surrounding the late Kim Sae Ron publicly.
While the details of his statement and the method of delivery are still being finalized, it has been confirmed that he will personally speak out on the matter.
Previously, his management agency Gold Medalist initially hinted at legal action against the YouTube channel ‘Garosero Research Institute’ over its claims of a 6-year romantic relationship between Kim Soo Hyun and Kim Sae Ron.
The YouTube channel alleged that the Kdrama began dating the late actress when she was in her third year of middle school. She was minor at the time, only 15 years old, when their relationship began in November 2015 and lasted till July 2021.
Kim Sae Ron reached out to Kim Soo Hyun when the Gold Medalist sent a certified letter to obtain 700 million won. The agency paid 700 million won in damages when she was embroiled in a drunk driving incident in 2022. Since her acting career was on pause, she could not pay the loan by the deadline (December 2023).
When Kim Soo Hyun did not respond to her text photo, she shared the intimate photo with the actor on Instagram in hopes he would contact her after that. Kim Sae Ron took her life on Kim Soo Hyun’s birthday last month.
However, the situation took a turn for the worse as the Garosero Research Institute continued to release photos and letters that fueled dating rumors. The public is now suspecting that Kim Soo Hyun had a secret relationship with Kim Sae Ron, who was a minor at the time, and the controversy is spiraling out of control. As a result, Kim Soo-hyun has canceled his scheduled appearance on MBC’s ‘Good Day’ on March 13.
