On August 8, 2023, BTS’s V (Kim Taehyung) attended a VIP screening of the highly anticipated film Concrete Utopia at Lotte Cinema World Tower in Seoul.
His attendance at the premiere was personal as much as public. As a member of the close‑knit “Wooga Squad,” he came to support his friend Park Seo Joon, along with fellow squad member Park Hyung Sik. Both were photographed on the red carpet, greeting fans and cast.
At the event, V stood out in a bold red tweed jacket, baggy jeans, and boots, his blond hair styled loosely as he smiled and posed with both cast and crew. Netizens referred to him as a “living anime character” and praised his visuals as regal and arresting.

Concrete Utopia is a South Korean disaster‑thriller directed by Um Tae Hwa, based on Kim Soong Nyung’s webtoon Pleasant Outcast.
The film is set in the aftermath of a devastating earthquake that leaves most of Seoul in ruins, except for one structurally intact apartment complex.
Inside, residents led by Lee Byung Hun’s character must confront limited resources, moral dilemmas, and outsider threats as society begins to fracture.
Park Seo Joon plays Min Sung, a civil servant turned security aide, while Park Bo Young portrays Myeong‑hwa, a nurse trying to maintain order and compassion amid chaos.
Meanwhile, BTS members are occupied with solo releases after Jin and j-hope’s enlistment. It is now V’s turn to release his debut album next month. He collaborated with NewJeans producer and ADOR CEO Min Hee Jin for his debut solo release.
Fans look forward to seeing V promote his album on music and variety shows, and hope he follows SUGA with a world tour of his own.
