Kim Woo Bin and Shin Min Ah began their married life by giving back. On December 20, the couple donated a combined 300 million won to charity on the same day as their wedding.
Their agency, AM Entertainment, confirmed that the donations were delivered to several groups. These included the Hallym Burn Foundation, Seoul Asan Medical Center, and the humanitarian organization Good Friends. The donations were meant to share gratitude at the end of the year and to mark a meaningful new chapter in their lives.
For Shin Min Ah, giving has been a steady part of her life for many years. She has quietly supported people in need since 2009, including children and elderly individuals facing difficult situations.
In 2015, she began focusing more closely on burn patients after learning how much they struggle with medical costs and how little attention their situation receives. Since then, she has continued to support burn victims without seeking publicity.
Kim Woo Bin also has a long record of charitable work. He started donating anonymously to low-income youth in 2014. For more than a decade, he has made regular donations through Seoul Asan Medical Center to help children with cancer and patients from underprivileged backgrounds. He has also stepped forward during national emergencies and offered support during events such as the COVID-19 pandemic, wildfires, and floods.
Shin Min Ah has given around 4 billion won over the past 15 years, while Kim Woo Bin’s donations total about 1.1 billion won. Combined, their contributions to society now exceed 5 billion won.
Their relationship began in 2014 after meeting on a commercial set, and they confirmed their relationship publicly in 2015. In 2017, Kim paused his career after being diagnosed with nasopharyngeal cancer. During that difficult period, Shin Min Ah stayed by his side and supported him throughout his treatment and recovery. He later returned to acting, stronger and healthier.
In 2022, the couple appeared in the tvN drama Our Blues. Over the years, they were often seen attending movie premieres together and enjoying private dates away from the spotlight.
After more than ten years together, Kim Woo Bin and Shin Min Ah will tie the knot today. The ceremony was held privately at The Shilla Hotel in Jung-gu, Seoul, with only close family and friends in attendance.
