LE SSERAFIM has given us some powerful and independent songs like FEARLESS, ANTIFRAGILE, and UNFORGIVEN. It’s easy to assume that they have it all figured out and aren’t affected by opinions or worries.
Their third mini album EASY is completely different from the music they have released before. It gives a more honest view of their world and tells stories about their struggle and anxiety.
On February 9, a media showcase was held to celebrate the release of their 3rd mini album, EASY.
Regarding the concept of the new album, Kazuha shared, “While we have shown a confident side so far, EASY is an album that focuses on the inner self of the members. We can see a more honest and humane LE SSERAFIM.”
LE SSERAFIM is making their comeback after around 9 months. Kim Chaewon and Huh Yujin shared their thoughts on this comeback, mentioning that they’ve put in a lot of effort to showcase a different side of themselves compared to before.
On the other hand, Hong Eunchae expressed her desire to surprise and impress many people with this new beginning for LE SSERAFIM. This album represents their growth as artists.
Moreover, Huh Yujin further explained the concept of the new album saying, “People have two sides. LE SSERAFIM with anxiety and worries is also LE SSERAFIM.” The Stupid in Love singer revealed she overcame her anxiety while working.
Regarding the title track, Yujin shared “I was hooked as soon as I heard it. It has a subtle addictive quality,” and added, “I also have a desire to put it on the Billboard Hot 100.”
LE SSERAFIM has been constantly giving hits since their debut, it is high time they make their debut on the Billboard Hot 100.
Sakura shared her worries, mentioning that after the success of Perfect Night, she was anxious about whether the next album would live up to it. However, she found the strength to overcome those concerns by shouting out that she can do it.
Kazuha mentioned that while numbers are important, it’s even more important to give their best performance and tell their story through their music.
