LE SSERAFIM is off to a scorching hot start with their latest release!
The 5-member K-pop girl group made their comeback with the 5th mini-album “HOT” on March 14 at 1 PM KST. The mini-album ‘HOT’ has made a stunning debut and sold 567,735 copies on its release day alone.
With this, LE SSERAFIM achieved their 3rd-highest 1st-day sales, only surpassed by their 1st studio album “UNFORGIVEN” (1,024,034) and 3rd mini-album “EASY” (567,735).
Their latest album also showed impressive chart performances on iTunes. The 5th mini-album “HOT” debuted at number 3 on the ‘Worldwide iTunes Albums’ chart.
In addition, it secured a spot within the ‘Top Albums’ charts in 34 countries/regions, including Japan, the US, France, and Russia. Notably, it entered the top 10 in 27 countries/regions, such as Mongolia, Saudi Arabia, and Indonesia.
The title track “HOT” dominated the iTunes Top Song charts in 25 countries/regions, including Sweden, Canada, France, and the United States.
Furthermore, all five tracks claimed the top 5 spots on the Japanese music platform AWA, a real-time rising chart. The music video for “HOT” has surpassed 10 million views on YouTube, currently holding #1 on YouTube’s Trending Worldwide and Music Video Trending Worldwide.
In addition to “HOT”, b-sides (“Born Fire”, “So Cynical (Badum)”, “Come Over”, and “Ash”) also dominate the music charts. LE SSERAFIM has wrapped up their trilogy series, which kicked off with “EASY” in February 2024 and continued with “CRAZY” last August.
They will now begin their first world tour “EASY CRAZY HOT” with shows in Incheon on April 19-20. Next, they will make stops in Nagoya (May 6-7), Osaka (May 13-14), Kitakyushu (June 7-8) and Saitama (June 12, 14-15).
Meanwhile, LE SSERAFIM will promote their upcoming comeback on MBC’s ‘Show! Music Core’, airing on March 15 at 3:15 PM.
