Lim Young Woong, a renowned South Korean singer, was rumored to launch a fashion brand next month.
On October 28, a Korean media outlet Maeil Kyungjae Star Today reported that the 33-year-old singer is launching his own fashion brand in November.
As per the media outlet, the brand will focus on comfortable, stylish casual wear for young adults, with a pop-up store in Seoul’s Seongsu-dong set for November 4.
Shortly after the news spread like fire, Lim Young Woong agency responded, “The news about launching his own fashion brand in early November is false.”
Fish Music put the speculation to rest by swiftly debunking rumors of a fashion brand launch. However, they remained silent on the previously announced pop-up store in collaboration with a fashion magazine.
Lim Young Woong became a star after winning TV Chosun’s ‘Mr. Trot 1’. He released his first album in 2022 and has since become one of Korea’s top singers. He is consistently releasing new music and performing at nationwide concerts.
In addition, he is recently making headlines for holding massive concerts at the iconic Sangam World Cup Stadium and participating in charity soccer matches.
