MAMAMOO fans have something big to look forward to next year. The beloved four-member group is making a full-group comeback after nearly four years. According to exclusive reports from News1, MAMAMOO has completed final discussions for their long-awaited return and plans to release a brand-new album with all members in June 2026.
This comeback will mark their first group release since their 12th EP “MIC ON” in October 2022.
The group, made up of Solar, Moonbyul, Wheein, and Hwasa, has been focusing on solo projects over the past few years. Each member has built her own strong identity and expanded MAMAMOO’s musical reach in different ways.
Despite being signed under different agencies, the members have continued to show their commitment to the group.
RBW, the agency that originally created MAMAMOO, will be in charge of producing the new album and organizing the upcoming world tour. Shortly after the reports went viral, the label confirmed on October 30, “MAMAMOO is actively discussing a full-group comeback with a goal of June next year.”
This is going to be a special reunion under the company that guided them from their debut days. Industry insiders say expectations are high, as MAMAMOO has always been praised as a “trustworthy and listenable” group.
This comeback is especially meaningful given the group’s journey over the past few years. Wheein was the first to leave RBW in June 2021 after deciding not to renew her exclusive contract. However, she signed a separate agreement to continue MAMAMOO activities. She recently joined the With Us label in July after her contract ended with THE L1VE label. Hwasa also parted ways with RBW in June 2023 and signed with P NATION, led by PSY.
Meanwhile, Solar and Moonbyul chose to stay with RBW and renewed their exclusive contracts that now run until 2027.
All four members have kept themselves busy with music, concerts, and creative projects. Moonbyul, in particular, has been preparing for her 2025 solo concert tour titled “MUSEUM: Village of Eternal Glow,” which includes shows in Singapore, Korea, Macau, and Taiwan.
She has also made a name for herself as a songwriter, with over 130 registered songs to her name. Moonbyul also released her fourth mini-album “laundri” (with title track “Goodbye and Sad Eyes”) earlier this year.
Wheein has been on her own Asia tour, “2025 Whee In FAN-CON TOUR [OWHEECE],” performing in cities like Seoul, Taipei, and Singapore while continuing to shape her unique musical identity under her new label.
Hawas embarked on a live tour “Twits” and recently released a song called ‘Good Goodbye’ starring Park Jeong Min. MAMAMOO leader Solar has kicked off her tour, Solaris, and will hold concerts in Taiwan, Singapore, and Taipei next month.
After four years apart, fans are excited for MAMAMOO’s return in June 2026.
