NCT’s Mark is reportedly cooking up something new, and it is already generating a lot of buzz.
While the news of his album delay disappointed fans, the 25-year-old K-pop idol is making up for it with an exciting collaboration.
On December 10, Hankyung reported that Lee Young Ji is set to be a featured artist on NCT Mark’s upcoming single, slated for release on December 16.
If the rumors are true, this collaboration between them is expected to generate immense excitement, given their current status as two of the most sought-after and talented artists in the industry.
Notably, the “Small Girl” singer has confessed to being a long-time fan of Mark, now she is getting the chance to work with her idol. This exciting collaboration is set to turn her fangirl dreams into reality.
Lee Young Ji has never been shy about her love for Mark, in fact, she is even a subscriber to his Bubble platform.
She made a splash this year with her debut EP “16 Fantasy” and title track “Small Girl”, which topped major music charts and won music show trophies. In addition, she became the youngest host of KBS2’s sixth season of “The Seasons: Lee Young Ji’s Rainbow.”
Mark has been on a roll this year with NCT 127 and NCT Dream. In July, NCT 127 dropped their sixth album, WALK, while NCT Dream released “DREAM( )SCAPE” and their fourth album, DREAMSCAPE.
Following a successful 37-show world tour across 25 regions, NCT Dream will also perform at the prestigious “2024 iHeartRadio Jingle Ball Tour” in the US. To cap off the year, Mark will release a new single featuring Lee Young Ji.
Mark’s vocals paired with Lee Young Ji’s rap skills are expected to dominate the year-end music charts.
