The 2025 Melon Music Awards took place on December 20 at Seoul’s Gocheok Sky Dome to celebrate the biggest achievements by K-artists. Held under the theme “Play the Moment,” the ceremony honored both legendary artists and rising stars who dominated Melon’s charts

G-Dragon emerged as the top MMA 2025 winner, taking home Artist of the Year and Album of the Year for Übermensch. His song Home Sweet Home, a collaboration with Taeyang and Daesung, won Song of the Year. 

Jennie won Record of the Year, an award decided entirely by judges. The BLACKPINK star also performed three songs (ZEN, like JENNIE, and Seoul City) live, her first award ceremony performance in years.

The Top 10 Artist winners were aespa, PLAVE, IVE, G-Dragon, Rosé, Lim Young Woong, Jennie, NCT WISH, RIIZE, and BOYNEXTDOOR. 

BOYNEXTDOOR won Best Male Group, while IVE claimed Best Female Group. G-Dragon received Best Male Solo Artist, and Rosé earned Best Female Solo Artist. 

Plus, G-Dragon won Best Songwriter, while Zico received Best Producer. New Artist of the Year was awarded to ALLDAY PROJECT and Hearts2Hearts.
