Min Hee Jin is under fire for mentioning BTS’ V in her latest interview with a music critic.
On October 29, the ex-ADOR CEO revealed during an interview with Kim Young Dae that the 28-year-old BTS member has maintained contact with her.
She revealed he calls him occasionally and was concerned for her after her first press conference during the HYBE-ADOR feud.
Min shared that V wished him on her birthday and asked her if she was okay and when was the best time to contact her.
Since her revelation, the news has been featured prominently on many media outlets’ homepages. ARMYs think she complimented the “Love Me Again” singer to gain the support of ARMYs (BTS fandom) and gain public sympathy.
Many suspect Min Hee Jin is using V’s name to shift public opinion in her favor.
She alleged that V messaged her in the middle of the night, despite soldiers in his unit reportedly not having phone access. Min also gave the impression that she has his support after her exposé for aiming to “end BTS.” However, fans have raised suspicions about the timing and authenticity of these claims.
Additionally, Min Hee Jin stated that he called her to wish her a happy birthday. Her birthday is December 16, which means V wished him before the HYBE-ADOR conflict broke, making the call potentially unrelated to her current controversy.
With K-media outlets already reporting on the story and some taking jabs at V, many believe she is using him as a shield to manipulate public opinion, particularly after losing her second injunction.
Previously, Min made ARMYs furious after she alleged that BTS was built on her ideas and concepts. In addition, her leaked chats showed her aim to “end BTS.” Last month, ARMYs protested against her reappointment as a CEO with the hashtag “MinHeeJinOut.”
Well, it looks like Min Hee Jin will not be reinstated as an ADOR CEO as the court has rejected her injunction application.
