On December 31st, Miyeon expressed her heartfelt message, addressing the viewers of the MBC Drama Awards and the group’s fandom, Neverland. She shared her gratitude for being able to perform on such a prestigious stage and her excitement to sing a song she deeply adores.
However, she acknowledged that nerves got the best of her, leading to a less-than-perfect pitch.
She added that after reviewing the performance, she could tell that it came as a surprise to many of the viewers. Since it was meant to be a celebratory performance, she apologized to those who felt let down. Moving forward, She promises to become a more dedicated and hardworking Miyeon.
On December 30, Miyeon delivered a congratulatory performance at the 2023 MBC Drama Awards in Seoul. She sang the OST The Painted on the Moonlight live of the drama My Dearest.
