The day has finally come, MONSTA X’s Hyungwon will begin his military service on November 14. After going through basic military training at the training center, he will serve as an active duty member in the army.
Starship Entertainment, his agency, shared that they won’t be organizing any official events on the day of his enlistment to avoid crowding. They kindly requested everyone’s warm support and encouragement for Hyungwon as he dutifully serves in the military and returns home in good health.
Hyungwon sent a message to MONBEBE through his agency saying, “I will return home after finishing my military life in good health”. He added, “so I hope MONBEBE will live happily ever after until the day we meet again.”
He also expressed his excitement about MONSTA X’s future activities and wants to show how much he has grown.
Hyungwon posted a series of photos on his Instagram, where he had shaved his head as a way to say his final goodbyes to his fans. With his enlistment, he became the fifth member of MONSTA X to serve in the military.
Born in 1994, he debuted with MONSTA X in 2015 and has been active both in Korea and internationally.
