n.SSign has announced that members Junhyeok and Eddie are leaving the group for good.
This marks the group’s second major shake-up in recent months, following the departure of Hyun back in August.
In June, Eddie hinted at tension and conflicts between the group members and n.SSign’s agency, n.CH Entertainment. A week or so later, it was announced that he would be taking a break due to deteriorating health.
On December 8, n.CH Entertainment announced that Junhyeok and Eddie had permanently left the group in an official statement. The statement reads, “We regret to inform you that due to health reasons, members JUNHYEOK and EDDIE, who had temporarily suspended their activities, have concluded their exclusive contracts after repeated discussions with our company, and will be ending their activities as members of n.SSign.”
The agency apologized to fans and asked them to support them in their future endeavors, “We sincerely apologize for the concern this sudden announcement may cause to all COSMO.
Both our company and the members of n.SSign will wholeheartedly support JUNHYEOK and EDDIE as they embark on new paths. We hope that all COSMO will also send warm support and encouragement for their new beginnings.”
n.CH Entertainment also gave an update about the group’s future activities, “Furthermore, n.SSign plans to continue activities as a 7-member group. We will do our utmost to present ourselves to you in even more wonderful forms in the near future. Once again, we sincerely apologize for any concern caused to all COSMO.”
Originally a ten-member group, n.SSign officially entered the K-pop scene in August 2023 with the EP “Birth of Cosmo.” Over a year after their debut, the group underwent two lineup changes. They recently released their 2nd Japanese single “Everblue” in October.
