Riku, a member of NCT’s last unit NCT WISH, is related to a well-known Japanese idol.
A picture of Riku, a Japanese member of SM Entertainment’s male idol group NCT WISH, who made his debut on February 28, was shared and got fans all excited.
Riku is cousins with the Japanese female idol Ai Takahashi. She was part of Morning Musume back in 2001 and was known as the group’s main vocalist. Morning Musume took off in 2007 with the hit Perfume and became super popular in Japan, even earning the title of the ‘national girl group’.
With Riku gaining more attention after NCT WISH’s debut, people are now looking back at the photos that Morning Musume’s Ai Takahashi shared on her social media account in the past.
She posted a cute picture of her and Riku together on October 9, 2023. Fans are reacting positively, saying things like, “It’s surprising that a Morning Musume member is Riku’s cousin,” “It’s awesome to see cousins working together as idols,” and “They’re both stunning beauties.”
