Jaehyun is finally flying solo!
The NCT’s main vocalist has just dropped the first teaser for his debut album J.
On August 8 at midnight, SM Entertainment dropped the 1st teaser for Jaehyun’s highly-awaited solo debut mini-album, J, on all social media channels.
The teaser titled, The Smoky Night, has built anticipation for its intriguing concept, leaving fans eagerly awaiting the release of the new album.
Previously, fans were anxiously awaiting the announcement of his solo debut, scheduled for August. They even criticized SM Entertainment for not making the announcement sooner since most K-pop acts announce upcoming releases a month in advance.
On Bubble, the Horizon singer asked fans to prepare for August 12, which led many to believe that the album announcement will likely be made on this date.
He will be making a solo debut after 8 years and the fourth NCT member to release solo music this year. Previously, Doyoung and Ten made solo debuts while Taeyong released 2nd mini album.
Moreover, many SM Entertainment artists are scheduled to release new music including aespa, NCT DREAM, NCT WISH, Mark, Naevis, and more in 3Q and 4Q of 2024.
Lastly, NCT Jaehyun to release a solo debut album, J, on August 26.
