NCT’s Taeyong officially began his military service last month, and ahead of his enlistment, he received a thoughtful gift from his friend and fellow artist, Shotaro.
Shotaro, formerly of NCT and now with RIIZE, remains close with his NCT members.
NCT 127’s YouTube channel recently posted a heartwarming video of the group’s members coming together to bid farewell and celebrate Taeyong’s departure for military service on May 11. The video was shot a day before he enlisted in the military.
The 28-year-old idol revealed that he got a call from Shotaro and a gift. He sent him German high-quality Vitamins along with a heartfelt message.
Taeyong read Shotaro’s message, “Hyung, take good care of your health, I hope you stay healthy physically and mentally.”
He added, “Although all I can do is to send support, I’ll always be praying for your health,” and added, “Hope that you come back safely. Please contact me from time to time, I’ll do the same.”
Then a clip from the enlistment day was shared where all the members gathered to send him off.
Lastly, Taeyong enlisted in the military as a member of the Navy band on April 15.
