K-pop sensation NewJeans has reached a new milestone! Their latest single album, Supernatural, has sold over 1 million copies, making it their fifth million-seller in a row.

On July 11, ADOR, the agency representing NewJeans, announced that the group’s Japanese debut single Supernatural, released on June 21, has sold a total of 1,021,730 copies, combining both physical and Weverse album sales, according to the Circle Chart’s June album chart.

NewJeans’ Supernatural title track has dominated domestic charts, topping Bugs’ daily chart for 9 days and reaching #5 on Melon’s Top 100.

The song has also made a global impact, ranking #22 on Billboard’s Global (Excluding US) and #34 on the Global 200, while Right Now has also charted globally, including #120 on Global (Excluding US).

Both songs from their Japan debut single are becoming popular on Japanese music platforms like Spotify Japan and Apple Music Japan.

With the success of Supernatural, they have achieved an incredible feat, with all five of their albums released since their debut in July 2022 selling over a million copies each.

NewJeans has achieved impressive sales figures across their discography. Their debut EP New Jeans sold over 1.6 million copies, while their single album OMG surpassed 1.66 million copies.

Their second EP Get Up sold over 2.14 million copies and became their first double million-seller. Additionally, their double single How Sweet released in May sold over 1.12 million copies.

These sales figures combine for a total of approximately 7.55 million copies sold across all five albums.

On another note, NewJeans is set to perform their Japanese single Supernatural on Korean music shows, starting with KBS2’s Music Bank and MBC’s Show! Music Core.
