K-pop girl group NewJeans has been spotted filming for a special appearance on the popular Korean variety show 2 Days & 1 Night.
However, member Hyein, who is currently on hiatus due to a foot injury, has not participated in the filming.
With this, the group will be making their first broadcast variety show appearance.
In the newly released photos, four members of NewJeans were spotted filming with a Hyein cardboard cutout.
Fans are eagerly anticipating NewJeans’ debut on 2 Days & 1 Night, wondering what Danielle, Hanni, Minji, and Haerin have in store for their first terrestrial TV appearance.
NewJeans is gearing up for their comeback and debut in Japan, therefore, their appearance on various variety and web entertainment shows is expected.
On the other hand, a dispute is currently unfolding between NewJeans’ label, ADOR, and its parent company, HYBE.
HYBE has accused ADOR’s CEO, Min Hee-jin, of attempting to seize control of management rights, claiming to have obtained evidence to support this allegation. However, CEO Min Hee Jin has vehemently denied these claims, stating that there was no such attempt.
NewJeans is gearing up for a busy schedule ahead! They will make their Korean comeback on May 24 with the double single How Sweet, followed by the release of their debut single Supernatural in Japan on June 21.
Additionally, their appearance on the popular variety show 2 Days & 1 Night is set to air next month.
