NewJeans treated fans with a surprise appearance at IU’s concert. IU’s solo concert was held on March 2 at KSPO DOME in Songpa-gu, Seoul. All tickets were immediately sold out, to add to the excitment, the surprise appearance of NewJeans as special guests had attendees going wild.
NewJeans took the stage and delivered an incredible performance of their hit songs, including Ditto and ETA. During their appearance, they also took a moment to show their support for senior IU’s new songs, urging everyone to give them lots of love.
Hyein from NewJeans performed a live rendition of a line from Shh.. during IU’s concert. Shh.. is a song from IU’s new album featuring Hyein, which dropped on February 20.
In the photo that was released, the girls can be seen wearing stage costumes with wings. This isn’t the first time NewJeans and IU have crossed paths. Last year in July, IU invited them as guests on her web entertainment show IU’s Palette.
Speaking of IU, her concert at KSPO DOME was a massive event. Not only did she perform on the 2, but she has additional shows on the 3, 9, and 10. Lastly, her tour will also take her to various overseas countries.
