NMIXX member Haewon has shared the sad news that her dog, Coco, has passed away. Fans are taking to social media to offer their condolences and support.
On October 22, the 21-year-old K-pop star shared the sad news on Bubble, a fan communication platform.
She revealed, “I miss Coco, actually, on August 25-26, peacefully passed away at dawn. It was just the beginning of the 2nd week of our promotion, I couldn’t tell you.”
Coco was sick for a while, and although Haewon couldn’t be there for her cherished pet due to work, her mother told her that Coco passed away comfortably.
During the Lunar Year holidays in January 2023, Haewon went to visit her family and vlogged during her break. During the vlog uploaded in March, she got emotional sharing an update saying that Coco is very sick.
During the past interview, she was asked if Coco became a human and what she would want her to do. Haewon expressed that she would want her to tell her where it hurts and how her eyes hurt.
NMIXX made their latest comeback with “Fe3O4: STICK OUT,” released on August 29. Since Coco passed away a few days before the release, Haewon couldn’t be there for her beloved pet.
Since she shared the unfortunate news, NMIXX fans have been sending condolences and messages of support for her during this tough time.
