Haewon got everyone’s attention when she clarified the truth about JYP Entertainment’s dating policy. It’s quite common in Korea for entertainment agencies to have restrictions on their idols dating, all to avoid any potential scandals.
There are rumors going around about JYP Entertainment having a 7-year no-dating policy for their idols.
One of the MCs of the show, Lee Yongjoo, asked NMIXX, “Is it true that JYP singers can’t date for 7 years after debut?” To Which NMIXX Haewon responded saying, “This is my first time hearing this. There is nothing like it.”
When asked about who her role model is as a leader, she answered, Jin Young Park (JYP).
In addition, Kim Min-soo asked Haewon, born in 2003, if they have ever drank alcohol. Haewon replied, “Of course! I really enjoy wine the most.” Lily chimed in and said, “I’ve actually tried all the alcoholic beverages once, but they just didn’t suit my taste.”
