Park Bo Gum, who previously appeared as a guest on “The Seasons”, has been chosen to host the show’s upcoming season.
On February 14, KBS announced that Park Bo Gum will take on the role of a new host for KBS2’s program “The Seasons”. Recording and broadcast dates will be announced later.
Since its premiere in 2023, “The Seasons” has boasted a diverse lineup of musician hosts. Each host brought their fresh energy and unique flair to the program.
So far, the following seasons have been aired including
- Jay Park’s Drive
- Choi Jung Hoon’s Night Park
- Long Day, Long Night with AKMU
- Lee Hyo-ri’s Red Carpet
- Zico’s Artist
- Lee Young Ji’s Rainbow
Park Bo Gum along with Suzy appeared as guests on “The Seasons – Zico’s Artist” in May 2024 to promote their movie “Wonderland”.
The 31-year-old actor makes history as the first actor to host “The Seasons”. The show has traditionally been hosted only by musicians. With Park taking the reins, he will succeed Lee Young Ji as the new MC.
“Lee Young Ji’s Rainbow” will come to a close with its final broadcast on February 21.
On the work front, Park Bo Gum has two exciting projects lined up: “When Life Gives You Tangerines” (March 8-28), and “Good Boy”. He is expected to wow audiences with his polished hosting skills as he has previously hosted many K-pop music festivals and award ceremonies.
