Wavve has seen a surge in new subscriptions thanks to this revenge thriller. The drama is leading the platform’s new signups over the past 4-6 days. Particularly, many new viewers joined only to watch “Buried Hearts”.
The show’s weekend broadcast shattered its own viewership record with a 168% increase from its debut weekend (February 21-23). According to Nielsen Korea, the show’s ratings have risen from 6.1% in its premiere to 14.6% in its 14th episode. It shows a notable 10.2% increase in viewership over the course of just four episodes.
‘Buried Hearts’ follows Seo Dong Ju who hacks into a 2 trillion won political slush fund to survive, while Yeom Jang Sun unknowingly loses the same amount. It sets off a complex and intense confrontation between them.
With only two episodes left, “Buried Hearts” is nearing its conclusion. The next drama to take over its time slot will be “The Haunted Palace,” starring Yook Sungjae and Bona.
