It’s official! Jinho has parted ways with Cube Entertainment, his agency since 2016.
In 2023, several PENTAGON members decided not to renew their contracts with Cube including Yeo One, Yan An, Wooseok, Kino, Hongseok, and Yuto. After Jinho’s departure, Hui and Shinwon are the only PENTAGON members who are still associated with the label.
On April 15, Cube Entertainment released an official statement, announcing his departure
We’d like to express our gratitude to all the fans who have sent their unwavering love and support for PENTAGON’s Jinho. We are writing to inform you about Jinho’s exclusive contract with Cube Entertainment.
After careful discussion with our artist Jinho, we have decided to terminate his exclusive contract as of April 14, 2025.
Jinho debuted as a member of PENTAGON in 2016 and has shown his passion for music and outstanding abilities as the group’s oldest member and main vocalist, as well as a solo artist.
We sincerely thank Jinho for his hard work and will cheer for his bright future as he embarks on a new journey. We ask for your continued warm interest and support for Jinho.
Thank you.
Cube Entertainment, April 15, 2025
While most PENTAGON members have left Cube Entertainment, they confirmed back in 2023 that the group will continue activities. Currently, the group activities are on hold and members are pursuing individual activities as Yeo On and Shinwon are enlisted in the military.
Yeo One and Shinwon will complete military service in September and November respectively. There is a high chance that PENTAGON may unite for a group release once the members complete military service.
Meanwhile, fans are sending well wishes to Jinho for his journey ahead and are curious to know which agency he will sign with next.
