Purple Kiss has officially wrapped up all activities and stepped away from the K-pop scene. On the afternoon of November 16, their agency, RBW, announced that Purple Kiss would end all official promotions that day.

Their disbandment wasn’t unexpected — RBW had already confirmed the news back in August. They explained that after long and serious discussions with the members about their future, everyone agreed to bring group activities to a close in November.

Purple Kiss debuted in 2021 as a six-member group made up of Na Goeun, Dosie, Ireh, Yuki, Chaein, and Swan. From the start, they drew attention as MAMAMOO’s labelmates and were praised for being a well-rounded, self-producing group. Despite their talent and strong musical identity, they ultimately disbanded after four years.

Their final project together was the world tour “PURPLE KISS 2025 TOUR: A Violet to Remember.” The tour began in Japan in September, continued through 13 cities in North America, and Taipei in October. They ended with their last concert on November 15 at the Yes24 Wonder Rock Hall in Seoul. It was an emotional finale for both the members and their fans, Flory.

RBW thanked Purple Kiss for always giving their best on stage and expressing gratitude to fans who supported them through every step.

The agency said the members’ hard work, along with Flory’s love, created a beautiful journey from debut until the end. They also asked fans to continue supporting the members warmly as each of them begins a new path, even if they are no longer standing together as one group.

We sincerely thank the members for giving their all to the group activities and all the Plory who stayed with them until the very last moment. From now on, Purple Kiss will move forward toward new paths in their individual pursuits. Although they may no longer share the same stage, we hope you will continue to support them warmly as they do their best in their own space.

Looking back, Purple Kiss’s journey was filled with passion and creativity. They debuted in March 2021 with the mini album “INTO VIOLET” and became famous for hands-on involvement in writing and composing their music. Songs like “Ponzona,” “Zombie,” “Nerdy,” and “Sweet Juice” helped establish their unique color, and they released seven Korean mini-albums over the years. Although member Park Jieun left in late 2022, the group continued as six and kept building their discography.

They faced the tough reality many small and mid-sized agency groups experience — unclear concepts, tight competition, and limited promotional opportunities. Their final releases, the single album “I Miss My…” in July 2025 and their first English album “OUR NOW” in August 2025, closed out their music era before the disbandment news hit just weeks later.

Though their time as Purple Kiss has ended, the members’ individual futures are just beginning. While it’s bittersweet to say goodbye to the group as a whole, fans can look forward to seeing where each of them goes next.
