Song Jae Rim, the gifted actor who recently captivated audiences in “Queen Woo”, has left us far too soon at the age of 39.

Song Jae Rim passed away on November 12 at the age of 39. His funeral services are set to be held at Yeouido St. Mary’s Funeral Hall in Seoul.

The late actor (1985-2024) began his acting career in 2009 with the film “The Actresses”. He gained widespread recognition in 2012 with his roles in MBC’s “The Moon Embracing the Sun” and “Cool Guys, Hot Ramen.”

His notable works include “Cafe Minamdang,” “All That We Loved,” “Not Yet 30,” “Queen Woo,” “On Your Wedding Day” (Film), and more.

In 2024, Song expanded his artistic range by venturing into stage acting with the musical “The Rose of Versailles”, which concluded in October.

Actor Song Jae Rim was discovered dead this afternoon, with the cause of death currently undisclosed.

In light of this news, fans are revisiting his social media profiles, noticing that his posts stopped 41 weeks ago and his last thread activity was in March. His profile phrase, “A long journey begins,” has sparked an outpouring of grief among netizens.

Funeral services for the late Song Jae Rim will take place on November 14 at 12 p.m., followed by cremation at the Seoul Metropolitan Crematorium.
