“Bitch x Rich”, the addictive K-drama that captivated audiences worldwide, is back for a second season.
Red Velvet’s Yeri has confirmed to rejoin the cast, with other actors from the first season positively considering an appearance in new season.
On November 14, SM Entertainment confirmed that Yeri will reprise the role of Baek Je Na in “Bitch x Rich”, a drama series about the complex relationships and power struggles within an elite school.
She delivered a standout performance as Baek Je Na, leader of Diamond 6, in the first Season. Her performance received favorable reviews from critics for its accurate depiction of the character’s multifaceted personality.
“Bitch x Rich” 2 is expected to feature Baek Je Na’s continued struggles to maintain her position and protect her priorities.
Besides her activities with Red Velvet, the 25-year-old K-pop star is building her filmography. She is set to star in a teen horror film “Next,” with a release date yet to be announced.
Besides Yeri, Lee Eun Saem and Lee Jong Hyuk were reported to appear in the upcoming season.
“Bitch x Rich” Season 2 has added director Lim Dae Woong, known for his work on thrillers like “The Night Has Become” and “Search”, and writer Kwak Young Im, to its production team. Filming is set to commence in December.
