On his birthday (October 2), RIIZE’s official profile on Weverse wished the 21-year-old K-pop idol a Happy Birthday.
This is the first mention by RIIZE’s official social media platform since he went on hiatus in November 2023, nearly two months after his debut with the group.
After the latest development, fans are hopeful that SM Entertainment will soon make an official statement about his return to the group.
Seunghan went on indefinite hiatus in November 2023 after getting embroiled in a series of scandals. At the time, SM Entertainment received backlash for its handling of the situation and forced him to stop group activities instead of supporting him.
Since then, he has not been part of any of the group’s comebacks including Love 119, RIIZING, and Japanese single LUCKY.
Previously, fans were speculating that Seunghan might rejoin the group on their 1st debut anniversary or fan-con RIIZING DAY Finale, held at KSPO DOME on September 14 and 15. Howe

This lack of communication has frustrated many fans who were eager to see him back with the group.
