BTS RM’s ‘Right Place, Wrong Person’ Album Sells Over 530K Copies on First Day, Sweeps iTunes Charts

RM’s second solo album is achieving huge success and topping the charts, even without his active promotion due to military service.

Besides receiving a 5-star review from NME, it swept the iTunes charts shortly after the release of Right Place, Wrong Person on May 24.

At the time of writing, all 10 songs from his latest release have entered the top 25 of the Worldwide iTunes chart.

As for the album sales, RM’s second solo album surpassed 539,406 copies on the Hanteo chart. Previously, his debut album, Indigo, sold 553,770 copies on the release day (December 02,2022).

With this, RM’s music has achieved a major sales milestone, with over 1 million physical albums sold worldwide.

On May 25, BIGHIT MUSIC announced that RM’s 2nd solo album’s title track LOST! has claimed the top spot on the iTunes ‘Top Song’ chart in 73 countries globally.

The track, dropped yesterday, has surged to the number-one position in Italy, France, Japan, and Mexico.

Additionally, LOST! has secured the top spot on both the ‘Worldwide iTunes Song’ and ‘European iTunes Song’ charts.

Right Place, Wrong Person has taken the top spot on the iTunes ‘Top Album’ chart in 59 countries worldwide, such as Australia, Brazil, and Denmark.

On another note, RM and Jimin are set to release their collaborative content, ‘Exchange Album MMM (Mini & Moni Music)‘, today at 5 PM. In this special video, the two members will share their thoughts and reactions as they listen to the new album together.
