Rosé Breaks BLACKPINK’s Record with Bruno Mars Collaboration ‘APT.’

Rosé is smashing records left and right with Bruno Mars’ collaboration “APT.”

The catchy song was unexpectedly dropped on October 18 without any prior promotions.

The song is based on Korea’s “Apartment Game,” a drinking game where players stack hands, call numbers, and take turns removing hands. Those who match the number or repeat it take a drink.

Currently ranking 2nd on the Global Spotify, the song has become a viral hit within 2 days of its release.

On October 20, Rosé and Bruno Mars “APT” racked up 12.3 million streams on Spotify, claiming the title of the largest streaming day for a female K-pop song, ahead of BLACKPINK’s “Pink Venom” (10.79M).

“APT” secured another impressive feat, becoming the largest debut for a male-female duet on YouTube in 2024, outranking Taylor Swift and Post Malone’s “Fortnight.”

The music video has surpassed 57 million views on YouTube within 2 days of its release. Moreover, Rosé achieved Real-time All Kill by topping Melon, VIBE, FLO, and Bugs real-time charts.

Not to mention, Rosé and Bruno Mars’ “APT.” was the third most streamed song on Spotify Counter with 8,547,054 streams following behind Jimin’s “Who” (9,990,983) and Jimin’s “Smeraldo Garden Marching Bang” (ft. Loco) (8,641,850).

On another note, Rosé will drop her first studio album “rosie” on December 6.
